About the job
Responsible for the efficient and timely processing of all non-policy related request, cash disbursements (i.e. Utilities, Telecoms, business permits) and accuracy of accounting entries and withholding tax computations.

Prepares efficiently payment request on utilities and business permits on timely basis.
Ensures that all received requests for payment from the different departments are properly supported and approved.
Coordinates and discusses directly with concerned department/s requests with incomplete documents.
Observes proper and accurate booking of accounting entries and withholding tax computations if applicable relative to the check requests processed to ensure accuracy of entries.
Handles and coordinates with bank representatives, vendors and different branches regarding the check payment and issuance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree – BS Accountancy or any related course
Certified Public Accountant
Background in tax laws and regulations; familiarity with Sun GL accounting application
Very good business communication skills (both verbala nd written)
Organizational skills and keen attention to details; good stakeholder engagement skills
At least one (1) year of professional hands-on experience in accounting, preferably related to disbursements or accounts payable processing is a plus
Exposure in the life insurance industry is a plus
Open to fresh graduates
