As a Budget Planning Officer, you will provide financial insight and advice to their respective segment when making decisions with a financial impact and conducting reporting and analysis. You will bring financial knowledge and business acumen to their specific segment to provide advice on reporting financial transactions to manage revenue, expense, asset, liability, and equity accounts. You will actively participate in developing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy inputs as well as detailed analysis of results to provide insight into the segment.
How You’ll Contribute
Conducts the financial planning and analysis activities including the development of consolidated financial plans, budget and forecasts, OPEX, and CAPEX across the organization and operating units/segments as required.
Produces and prepares analysis of organizational and operating unit/segment performance against financial plans including key variances, trends, risks, and opportunities, and understands the impact on resource and funding allocations and performance.
Determines and articulates key business drivers and the provision of critical insights and value-adding analysis for core products and services to support effective organizational commercial decision-making.
Supports the development of strategies and frameworks to improve financial and commercial literacy across the wider organization.
Integrates data from various sources to prepare the profitability reports of assigned group/s.
Brings financial knowledge and business acumen to their specific segment to provide advice on reporting financial transactions to manage revenue, expense, asset, liability, and equity accounts.
Actively participates in developing planning, budgeting, and forecasting inputs as well as detailed analysis of results to provide insight into the segment.
Builds a collaborative culture across the team that encourages innovation for persistent improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance or any related course
At least 5 years of experience in Business Partnering and Analysis, Financial Reporting, Process Improvement, Branch Management
Knowledge of Financial / Data / Process Analysis
Knowledge of Business scenario modeling
Knowledge of Commercial advice and cost management
Knowledge of Oracle systems
Must have banking experience (preferably Retail Bank)
Good interpersonal and communication Skills
Self-starter / Flexible / Reliable / Detail-Oriented
