Job Summary:

Responsible for the overall identification, analysis, measurement and management of portfolio market, interest rate, and liquidity risks arising from trading, structuring and other businesses of Treasury groups within Metrobank. It shall provide support in the selection and implementation of investment strategies. It shall oversee the building of infrastructure required for allocating, monitoring and reporting risk and performance vis-à-vis strategies and market developments. It shall provide analysis of new products/activities/services and processes. It shall oversee risk control of market, interest and liquidity risks of Treasury portfolios through monitoring and reporting of compliance with limits.

Role Exposure:

Oversees overall process of identification, analysis, measurement, reporting, monitoring and management of market, interests rate and liquidity risks for existing Treasury portfolios of the Bank.

Assists in further developing a robust risk management framework, infrastructure and methodologies including contributing to the development of policies and procedures pertaining to market, interest rate and liquidity risk management activities covering Treasury portfolios.

Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity and identify emerging risks and their impact on Treasury portfolio profile and limits through analysis of new products/activities/services and processes to be engaged in by the Bank.

Assists in strategizing and communicating risks with business and management.

Qualifications:

Preferably with at least 5 years supervisory role experience
